We love this time of year on Ingleborough – the land and air is so full of the signs of potential new growth and promise with loads of “moments” for us all to look forward to.
Spring can also be quite a frustrating thing up here – it can take a while to get going and can throw in the odd bout of winter even in April and May. But, slowly but surely, things start to appear. As a team we have many special events to look forward to – the annual trip to the top of the mountain in late March / early April to catch the purple saxifrage in flower, the first early purple orchids starting to come through and waiting for the first cuckoo to arrive in Colt Park Wood.
